The skills you get to know while attending this program will help you reduce risks when you dive without buddy or when the buddy is not able to help. The skills and knowledge on how to be a self-reliant diver are particularly useful when diving with a younger, unexperienced or even a disabled diver.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment used is standard equipment, slightly adapted to a self-reliant diving situation.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is a fact that the best training and equipment for solo diving will not make up for a good diving buddy.<\/p>\n<p>This course will help you handle many unforeseen situations that may occur while solo diving.<\/p>\n<h4>Prerequisites<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum age is 18 years old<\/li>\n<li>Very good diving fitness<\/li>\n<li>Medical statement<\/li>\n<li>ProTec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.protecdive.com\/all-certifications\/beginner\/scuba-core\/1-diver\/\">1* Diver<\/a> or ProTec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.protecdive.com\/all-certifications\/advanced-scuba\/adv-scuba-core\/advanced-open-water-diver\/\">AOWD<\/a> certificate or
